PROCESS
HARVEST OF THE MAQUI BERRY
Maqui berries are harvested through traditional wild berry collection methods.
The harvest season typically runs between January to March in the Patagonia region. The work involves cutting lateral branches from the trees, shaking them to release the berries, and then manually separating the berries from leaves and stems
Assuring Sustainability. UEBT milestone
The Maqui berry harvest is carried out in close partnership with local communities, particularly the Mapuche people, through sustainable practices. The goal is to foster a thriving, inclusive economy that supports community well-being, protects the environment, and ensures the renewal of natural resources.
MNL Group got in the beginning of 2025 its first validation process of “Responsible Source” of the UEBT sustainability certification.
